Prof David Crich wins Emil Fischer Carbohydrate Award 2011
The Emil Fischer Carbohydrate Award was established in 2008 by the European Carbohydrate Organization (ECO) in order to honor active carbohydrate scientists distinguished with contributions of excellence. At the 16th European Carbohydrate Symposium in Sorrento, Italy (July 2011), the Emil Fischer Award 2011 was presented to Professor David Crich, Centre de Recherche de Gif, Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles, CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France, in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the Glycosciences.
